Mississippi Department of Marine Resources Executive Director Jamie Miller has issued an important letter regarding Mississippi seafood laws. As Executive Director Miller says, “Mississippi seafood laws are established to protect our wild caught domestic seafood product. They protect the interest of our fishermen, processors, wholesaler/retailers, and restaurants, and well as the consumers who enjoy them. Adhering to the laws also protects MIssissippi and our seafood industry’s reputation”.
