Mississippi Seafood Marketing Program (MSMP) is thrilled to be a sponsor of the 34th Annual Mississippi Picnic in Central Park. The southern-inspired event showcases Mississippi’s rich culture and highlights some of the delicious, innovative food, outstanding music and inspired art coming out of Mississippi. Picnic in the Park is free to the public and will be held on Saturday, June 8th from 12pm – 6pm in Central Park at the Fifth Avenue and 72nd Street entrance.

We’re excited to bring a taste of Mississippi to the great city of New York for this event.”
“Mississippi Legends and Trails” is the theme of this year’s event which will celebrate the Mississippi Country Music Trail and feature performances by Britt Gully, a Jimmie Rodgers (“the father of country music”) tribute artist, as well as Liz Davis, a Mississippi country singer and finalist on NBC’s The Voice. Picnic in the Park will introduce some of Mississippi’s talented authors and artists who will be showcasing their work throughout the day.
